The intention of the design was for the user to have a different user experience when viewed in full-screen mode under controlled conditions, such as a presentation, matching the screens background colour with the hex value of the charcoal frame gives the PDF a cleaner bespoke look than the standard PDF viewing experience— emphasising the impact of the content, especially pages which contain rich imagery and data.
